It will ease some of your fears. Personally, I think he is a better all around writer than Jordan. Jordan had some strengths that Sanderson can't match (yet) but every fan who is honest with him/herself will acknowledge that Jordan also had some incredible flaws in his writing. I expect the concluding WoT trilogy to be everything we could have wished for.
