Video: Peter F. Hamilton takes fan questions
In this video posted online recently by publisher Pan McMillan, renowned British sci-fi author Peter F. Hamilton responds to questions from fans and bloggers about his work.
The author has written quite a few books over the past several decades, ranging from the well-known Night’s Dawn trilogy, to the Void trilogy currently under way, to his Misspent Youth and the Commonwealth Saga.
In the interview Hamilton addresses such questions as to why he’s not on Twitter and doesn’t even have phone or internet access in his office and how he thinks he became Britain’s best-selling sci-fi author, to specific questions about the technology in his books and whether he prefers writing short stories or novels.

Great Q&A. This website actually got me to read more sci-fi and I read the Night’s Dawn trilogy after reading about the Greg Mendell books here.
Glad to hear it! :)
